MEXB-PL Variable Frequency Induction Generator AC Voltage Test Device Product Application
The MEXB-PL variable frequency induction generator AC voltage withstand test device is mainly designed and manufactured for the AC voltage withstand test of generators, and can accommodate AC voltage withstand tests of various sizes of generators. The device adopts the principle of frequency conversion, which can accommodate more test subjects. The reactor is designed with two separate components, one electrically adjustable and the other manually adjustable. The device mainly consists of a variable frequency control power supply, excitation transformer, reactor, and capacitive voltage divider.
The AC withstand voltage test of the generator requires the use of power frequency voltage. Currently, the national standard defines the frequency of power frequency voltage as 45Hz~65Hz. However, in more testing scenarios, the generator is required to undergo an AC test of 50Hz ± 2 Hz, and the ground capacitance of the generator stator winding is relatively large. Currently, most testing units in China use resonant transformers to test it, but the resonant transformer itself is heavier and can easily weigh up to tons, making on-site testing more inconvenient. In response to this, our company has designed and manufactured an AC voltage withstand resonance test device for frequency modulation and induction generators. This series of devices can achieve resonance by adjusting the inductance of the reactor, adjusting the operating frequency of the system, or using both of the above methods simultaneously. When a certain frequency is needed for the experiment, the frequency of the excitation source is adjusted to the desired frequency, and then the inductance of the reactor is adjusted according to the capacitance of the test object to make the system resonate and generate high voltage. During the boosting process, if the resonance point deviates, the resonance point can be accurately found by fine-tuning the frequency to ensure a high Q value, thereby reducing the power supply capacity and the volume and weight of the testing equipment to a greater extent.

5. Flexible configuration and strong expansion capabilities. Different types of reactors can be selected or multiple series parallel connections can be used to meet the testing requirements of all capacitive samples in the power system; At the same time, it can meet the needs of both power frequency testing and frequency conversion testing; The device can be used for both generator AC withstand voltage testing and cable AC withstand voltage testing, achieving multi use and high cost-effectiveness.
